Woodpecker Proofing in Denver, CO

Protect Your Stucco Exterior From Repeat Damage

Woodpeckers can cause serious damage to stucco, EIFS, and other exterior wall systems.

At VAMP Stucco & Exteriors, we provide professional woodpecker damage repair and woodpecker proofing in Denver and surrounding Colorado communities.

Our team repairs holes, cracks, and damaged exterior materials while helping reduce the risk of future woodpecker activity.

Why Woodpeckers Damage Stucco

Woodpeckers may peck at exterior walls while searching for insects, creating nesting areas, or establishing territory.

Damage is especially common on synthetic stucco and EIFS systems because the softer materials beneath the finish can be easier for birds to penetrate.

Even a small hole can allow moisture into the wall system and lead to more extensive damage over time.

Woodpecker Damage Repair

VAMP repairs woodpecker damage on residential and commercial properties.

Depending on the condition of the exterior, the repair process may include:

Removing loose or damaged material
Repairing the underlying stucco or EIFS system
Sealing openings that may allow moisture intrusion
Restoring the exterior texture
Matching the existing stucco color
Refinishing a larger section for a more uniform appearance

Our goal is to repair both the visible damage and the vulnerable area beneath it.

Woodpecker Proofing Solutions

Repairing the hole is important, but it may not stop the bird from returning.

VAMP can recommend woodpecker-resistant solutions based on the property, exterior system, and location of the damage.

This may include reinforcing vulnerable areas, improving the exterior finish, addressing repeated damage points, or using materials designed to better withstand future activity.

Because every property is different, our team evaluates the exterior before recommending the best approach.

Color and Texture Matching

Woodpecker repairs can stand out when the new material does not match the surrounding stucco.

VAMP offers custom stucco color matching and texture restoration to help repaired areas blend more naturally with the existing exterior.

For larger or heavily weathered walls, refinishing from corner to corner may provide the most consistent finished appearance.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are so pleased with outcome of the hard work that was put in to re-stuccoing our house! Miguel was always available and pleasantly responsive to our questions, comments, and concerns. Nael and Chris were here from the beginning to end. We really appreciate all the hard work and attention to detail that they put into it. Muerto and Daniel were also part of the project and showed the same great work. Our house was totally transformed and we couldn’t be more happy with results!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From start to finish, every person I engaged with at VAMP was incredibly helpful, kind, professional, and really a breath of fresh air. Contractors can sometimes (or a lot of times) difficult to work with, but not VAMP. That, and the finished product at my house was just beautifully incredible. I am so impressed with the amazing attention to detail they put into my stucco, I knew it would look great, but even with that expectation, I was wow’d by the finished product. For me there is only one Stucco company in Denver, VAMP!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. V.A.M.P. is outstanding! We needed significant stucco work done as part of replacing 32 windows in our home, and throughout the 6-week project, V.A.M.P. exceeded our expectations in professionalism, quality, and timeliness.
Carlos and his team were punctual every day, worked hard to stay on schedule, and kept the job site impressively tidy, no small feat considering the nature of stucco work, which involved cutting it away and restoring it.

Miguel Midina oversaw the project and did an excellent job keeping us informed throughout the process. He made sure the stucco work was completed thoroughly and to a very high standard.

Justin Chapman made the process of engaging V.A.M.P. a great experience, including providing a reasonable quote and guiding us through the contracting process. He also helped us coordinate the many scheduling details, and Jaqueline, the Office Manager, was very helpful throughout the process with invoicing and answering our questions.

The final results look fantastic, and both our windows and stucco turned out beautifully. Thank you to V.A.M.P., Miguel, Carlos, and the entire team, we truly appreciate your excellent work, and we highly recommend the V.A.M.P. team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've used Vamp for years in many applications, new construction, moisture mitagation, re- finish, etc. They never disappoint, but instead always impress! Service, prep, communication, crews, all 5 star. Don't go for the low bid, but no, they are not over priced. Highly recommended.
